Frequently Asked Question

What is Brilliance?

Rate This Faq
In 1995, Weiser Lock introduced an industry first, the Brilliance Anti-Tarnish Finish. Brilliance does not use a lacquer or after-finish application to fight tarnish; its bond is essentially inseparable from the product. That's because this special finish is applied using Physical Vapor Deposition, the same technology NASA uses to protect the space shuttle from burning up during re-entry into the Earth's atmosphere. It's virtually impossible to destroy! Weiser Lock's Brilliance Anti-Tarnish finish is offered on a complete line of exterior products in Bright Brass (3), Bright Chrome (26) and Satin Chrome (26D) finishes and comes with a full Lifetime Anti-Tarnish warranty. 2001 all finishes are Life Time.
